Count your blessings, Pisces! With Jupiter in your sign (Dec. 28, 2021 to May 10, 2022 and Oct. 27 to Dec. 20, 2022), it’s time to adopt an attitude of gratitude. The more you appreciate the good things in your life this year, the more you’ll feel like life keeps getting bigger and better.
As Jupiter sextiles Uranus in Taurus (Feb. 17), you can find abundance in unexpected places. All it takes, dear Pisces, is a shift in your perception.
Your perceptive powers will be especially strong around a Jupiter-Neptune conjunction (April 12). You might sense yourself surrounded by benevolent spiritual forces delivering more messages from the spirit world. But your energetic boundaries could be a little blurry—so be mindful of what’s yours and what you’re picking up from others.
Boundary issues aside, friendships and groups will be vital sources of support for you this year. Fortunately, Jupiter’s sextile with Pluto in Capricorn (May 3) brings more opportunities for structured socializing.
Of all the gifts that Jupiter can bring this year, Pisces, the greatest one might be a bigger belief in yourself. This faith is reinforced by the North Node in Taurus, which is teaching you to trust your body and your instincts. Two Taurus eclipses (solar: April 30; lunar: Nov. 8) help you to be fully present with your feelings and more firmly rooted in your own reality.
That said, with the South Node in Scorpio, you might want to investigate unconscious beliefs that cast the world in a cynical or suspicious light. At times, it might feel like life is out to get you. This year, Pisces, nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, the universe is conspiring to help you realize your full potential. So use this year’s two Scorpio eclipses (lunar: May 15; solar: Oct. 25) to release whatever negative beliefs are standing in the way of spiritual growth.
This could cause some friction with your family, if the beliefs that you’re unlearning were originally learned from them. Fortunately, Mars in Gemini (Aug. 20, 2022 through March 25, 2023) gives you the courage of your convictions. You don’t necessarily have to distance yourself, Pisces, as long as you’re proactive about protecting your psychic space.
You might be a hopeless romantic, Pisces. In 2022, you’ve got good reason to be hopeful about your chances in love.
Still, this doesn’t mean you have to leave it up to chance. With Venus retrograde at the beginning of the year, take some time to reevaluate what is and isn’t working in your romantic situation. Once Venus goes direct in Capricorn (Jan. 29 to March 5), her conjunctions with Mars and Pluto will empower you to make whatever changes you desire—as long as your expectations have some basis in reality.
This will be especially important as Venus joins Neptune and Jupiter in your sign (April 5 to May 2). At this time, you’ll be particularly attuned to other people’s energy and picking up more nonverbal cues from your partner. While a lot can be conveyed with just a look or a touch, it’s tempting to interpret their meanings as whatever you want them to mean. Perhaps, Pisces, it’s best not to leave too much to the imagination.
That said, fantasy will always have a special place in your heart. And as Venus moves through Cancer (July 17 to Aug. 11), trining Neptune in your sign, you might have the chance to live out some cherished romantic dreams. Enjoy these sweet and simple pleasures with your significant other. For now, Pisces, try not to obsess too much about what your future together will hold.
After all, with Mercury spending extra time in Virgo (your house of partnerships) and Libra (your house of intimacy), there’ll be plenty of time later for relationship-defining discussions.
Mercury in Virgo (Aug. 3–25 and Sept. 23 to Oct. 10) puts partnerships under the microscope, as you focus on the details of how to make them work. This might not seem particularly romantic, Pisces. The practical side of your life together can be just as essential as your emotional and spiritual connections.
Mercury in Libra (Aug. 25 to Sept. 23 and Oct. 10–29) invites you to take a deeper dive—not only into your feelings for each other but also into more sensitive areas like sex, money, and power dynamics. Don't be afraid to go there, Pisces, as long as you approach it from a place of love and trust.
Meaningful work is its own reward, Pisces. And with Mars in Sagittarius at the start of 2022 (until Jan. 24), you’re hopefully getting just as much fulfillment out of your work as you are putting energy, effort, and enthusiasm into it.
Still, it’s even more validating when the spiritual rewards of work are matched by the material ones. And, for that, you might have to wait until Jupiter moves from your sign into Aries, your second house of income and resources (May 10 to Oct. 27). Trust us, Pisces: Your patience will pay off!
During this transit, you’ll be especially rewarded for taking the initiative: seeing, and seizing, as many opportunities as possible to better your financial and professional circumstances. These might include getting a better job, applying for a promotion, asking for a raise, working some extra hours, or even starting a side hustle. You might also take advantage of investment opportunities. Some of these might be more risky than others, so do your due diligence before going all-in.
Money is likely to be on your mind a lot this year. With Chiron also in Aries, this is just as much about healing your relationship with money as it is about looking for ways to earn more. After all, Pisces, no matter what you make, there’s so much more to you than money. So while a rise in income could boost your self-esteem this year, don’t allow this to determine your self-worth.
Work gives you a big ego boost in July and August, as Mercury, the sun, and Venus in Leo trine Jupiter in Aries. You’ll be taking even more pride in what you do, and seeing it as an expression of who you are. As Jupiter goes retrograde from July 28 to Nov. 23, make sure you’re being compensated—and celebrated—accordingly for your unique contributions.
