If you’re crunched for time, you may fail to properly wash your hair or wash it less often, a strategy that can backfire. Failing to thoroughly rinse after washing and conditioning you hair can result in a flaky buildup on your scalp.
Use a moisturizing shampoo a couple of times a week. If itchiness persists and you can’t see a dermatologist right away, warm some olive oil and gently massage it into your scalp with your fingertips. Leave on overnight and then wash it off in the morning. Relief!
