Lola Monroe is a Scorpio hip hop artist who is best known for the singles “Don’t Wake Me” and “Overtime.” She was nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the 2011 BET Awards.

Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Monroe began her music career in 2010 with the release of her first mixtape, “Boss Bitch’s World.” She has since released two more mixtapes, “Yellow Tape” and “Fate.”
