She is motivated by a need to work in common with other people and to share life’s pleasures and pain. Her commitments to other people are of paramount importance to her personal development. This dependence may present difficulties with individual self-assertion and make it hard for her to make decisions alone. If she wants to achieve inner equilibrium, she must behave in such a way that her actions yield benefits to others as well as herself.

Azuki demonstrates great interest in the outside world, social affairs, and anything else that contributes to the growth and development of society as a whole. Clubs, organizations, and other forms of partnership attract her attention and motivate her behavior. She tries to protect herself from her subjectivity by adopting an impersonal approach to life. Devoted to the common cause, her destiny is no longer hers alone. It is almost entirely controlled by the people whose cause she has espoused.

Azuki struggles between two fundamentally opposite psychological tendencies. In her case, mental and emotional functions predominate over dynamic and pragmatic ones. Thus, intuition and abstraction yield great results for her. She is possessed of an exceptionally lively spirit, and is talented at forming relationships. However, she may lack energy and optimism. She has trouble perceiving the limitations and requirements of reality.

Azuki is typically composed and tolerant, able to balance out the many contradictions and tensions that are a recurrent feature of her astral theme. Indeed, they are especially likely to protect her from frustration and, in terms of reality, will enable her to achieve a certain level of social and professional success without too much effort. However, she must be careful not to take on too many responsibilities, as her confidence in her ability to accomplish things may make her spread herself too thin.
