Briar Rose tries to avoid contact with others because she does not feel that she is good at teaming up with others. She is an individualist, and she wants to do things on her own. She often does not want to rely on others for help, and she does not want to be influenced by them. She does not feel comfortable working with other people, and she does not feel that she can accomplish anything if she does not work independently.

Briar Rose strives to free herself from outer restraints and limitations. She tries to free herself from social obligations and commitments, as well as from feelings of insecurity that come from being too attached to the individualistic and egocentric world.

Briar Rose lives her life on the emotional level; her behavior and attitudes toward life are the product of her need for security. However, this may take a toll on her intellectual and social faculties, and her optimism and faith in life may suffer. Endowed with great pragmatism and considerable strength of will, her life will easily stabilize. Because of her stolid personality, she takes few risks, rarely tend to visualize the future, and do not readily seek out other people.
