Blair Christian’s psyche follows an introverted flow. He knows himself and attempts to develop his inner resources to their maximum potential.

Blair Christian does not seek contact with others because they are focused on themselves. They are hesitant to team up with others because Blair Christian is an individualist. Blair Christian attempts to free themselves from any outside influence, and they are eager to leave their personal imprint on the world around them. Often, because Blair Christian lacks perspective in relation to other people, they rebuff their help and cooperation on projects. It is only by working and acting independently that Blair Christian can accomplish their goals and ambitions.

Blair Christian thought, intuition, and inner perceptions predominated in her psyche. Open and curious, optimistic and enthusiastic, she was eager to participate in everything happening around her. Her affections were lively and spontaneous, but may have been more intellectual than sensual. In a partner, she would seek a source of mutual spiritual or artistic inspiration. Light-hearted and perhaps even fickle, she never allowed herself to be overcome by outer realities or emotions. In its most exaggerated form, her buoyancy border on indifference.

Blair Christian struggles to get into a natural harmony with the physical world and the limitations and restraints it places upon him. Idealistic, he tends to be somewhat disconnected from practical considerations, and barely pays any attention to material things like food, money, his surroundings, and so on. He tends to be footloose and fancy-free, oblivious to the necessities of survival in the physical world, until his lack of material resources – an issue to which he usually grants no importance – becomes an emergency. This feeling of being out of touch with material things and the physical dimension of reality may sometimes lead him to see himself as unfit for this world. He may think he cannot attach himself to anything that would sustain his efforts at self-expression. However, his impractical nature offers many positive aspects. He sees life’s possibilities as limitless. He is apt to develop his imagination or pursue a spiritual quest in order to transcend the material world.

You work hard to understand other people’s feelings, but you find it difficult to empathize with them. You think that you’re insensitive, but you really just don’t understand your own emotions. You see the emotional world as a foreign territory, full of hidden dangers that you’re afraid to explore. If you could learn to understand your own emotions, it would be easier to understand the emotions of others. You have a strong desire for emotional independence, and might find it difficult to let other people into your emotional world. You might also be the first to deny that someone else has feelings. As a result, your dependency on others is unconscious. Because it’s seen as a threat, it’s usually repressed. In reality, though, you’re always making feeble, half-conscious attempts to reach out to people, because you’re so lonely and afraid.
