Romelu Lukaku is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester United and the Belgium national team. He is known for his physicality, finishing, and his ability to link up play. Lukaku began his professional career with Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht at age 16, where he made his senior debut in 2009 and was a member of their championship-winning team in the 2009–10 season. He was the league’s top scorer for the 2010–11 season, with 18 goals in 35 games. In the 2011–12 season, Lukaku helped Anderlecht win their 13th consecutive Pro League title.
