Louis van Amstel is a three-time World Dance Champion and Emmy-nominated choreographer who is best known for his nine stunning turns on the smash hit TV show Dancing with the Stars. He continues to grow his highly popular dance fitness program, “LaBlast”, which is spreading rapidly and available domestically and internationally.

Born on June 23, 1972, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, van Amstel is a Cancer. He got his start in the world of dance at a young age, and quickly rose to the top of his field. In addition to his work on Dancing with the Stars, he has choreographed for numerous stage and screen productions.
