Jona Weinhofen is a Capricorn and noted Caparison Guitars enthusiast, best known for his work in the Australian band I Killed the Prom Queen and the British group Bring Me the Horizon.

Weinhofen was born on January 1, 1983 in Adelaide, Australia. He began his musical career in the early 2000s, playing guitar in I Killed the Prom Queen. The band released three albums before disbanding in 2007.

Weinhofen then joined Bring Me the Horizon, appearing on the band’s 2010 album “There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret.” He left the band in 2013, but rejoined in 2015 and has been with them since.

Weinhofen’s guitar playing has earned him critical acclaim, with some calling him one of the best guitarists in metal today. He continues to tour and record with Bring Me the Horizon, and shows no signs of slowing down.
