Jeff Flake is a Capricorn politician who has been a junior United States Senator from Arizona since 2013. He previously served in the House of Representatives for 12 years.
Flake was born on December 31, 1962, in Arizona. He attended Brigham Young University and Harvard University. Flake has been married to Catherine Ann White since 1985; they have five children.
In his political career, Flake has been a member of the Republican Party. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2000 and served there until 2013. In 2012, he was elected to the Senate.
During his time in the Senate, Flake has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump. In 2017, he published a book called Conscience of a Conservative: A Rejection of destructive Politics and a Return to Principle, in which he criticized the Republican Party for embracing Trump.
