Alan Gratz is an Aquarius-born author and screenwriter from Tennessee best known for his critically acclaimed young adult novels. His 2017 book Refugee spent over two years on the New York Times bestseller list. Gratz’s other works include Something Rotten (2007), Fantasy Baseball (2011), Prisoner B-3087 (2013), and The Dragon Lantern: A League of Seven Novel (2015). His television writing credits include the A&E series City Confidential.
