Consciousness and The Ideal of Self:
Nia Sioux is searching for stability; Nia Sioux wants to find a firm, unchanging structure for her life. But Nia Sioux’s efforts to achieve this ideal are often vain, because unconsciously, Nia Sioux is also inhabited by the opposite desire. Every time Nia Sioux reaches what Nia Sioux believes to be a good balance, Nia Sioux realizes Nia Sioux wants something entirely different. Nia Sioux would do well to become aware that the concepts of stability and balance are difficult to apply to life. By definition, life is movement, change, and perpetual instability.
Born under a new moon (when the moon and sun were in the same part of the sky), Nia Sioux enjoys a positive balance between the conscious and unconscious aspects of her psyche. Nia’s determination and sensitivity balance one another and work together harmoniously. Nia’s inner life contributes to the relationships with other people which make up her outer life. Nia’s parents or teachers probably gave her the type of education which was adapted to her personality.
As a result, Nia’s personality is basically balanced, which, of course, does not mean that her life is devoid of little asperities. Generally, the goals Nia sets for herself correspond to her skills. Without giving the matter much thought, Nia tends to follow prevailing trends and behave in a conventional enough way. Nia is subjective and sees the world according to her own perceptions instead of the way it really is.
Nia Sioux has a taste for luxury and magnificence, for a dazzling social life and a distinguished career. When things are going well for her, she tends to think of herself as the center of the universe, an attitude which those close to her do not always appreciate. Although she is quite likely to succeed in her ambition to become wealthy and popular and lead a remarkable life in the outer world, her lack of moderation and overweening self-confidence expose her to some danger. Her exaggerated optimism could create difficulties by causing her to make errors in judgment.
Nia Sioux enjoys sharing and has a constant need for contact with other people. Nia Sioux tends to be free and uninhibited in her relations with other people, rarely allowing herself to be influenced by convention or prevailing opinion; Nia Sioux associates with whomever she pleases. This attitude makes Nia Sioux’s life refreshing and exciting, and Nia Sioux is never bored. In career terms, Nia Sioux is quite gifted for any field related to communication, where Nia Sioux’s intellectual singularity and lively wit would make Nia Sioux an amazing hit. Nia Sioux would also be likely to succeed in any activity where the work required a multidisciplinary approach: teaching, advertising, politics, etc.
Adaptation and Sensitivity:
Nia Sioux’s personality is ruled by her mind, so she needs intellectual stimulation in order to feel fulfilled. She is always on the move, in search of new contacts. Curious about all sorts of different subjects, she takes care to inform herself about many things. She enjoys conversation and communication and hopes to be admired for her talent and wit. Due to her having such a wide variety of interests, however, she can be something of a dilettante, and her thinking may sometimes lack discipline.
Nia Sioux’s intellect is lively, agile, and sensitive. However, she does not always avail herself of it and may be confused or irrational in some situations. Although she enjoys playing with words, ideas, and concepts, her thought sometimes lacks discipline and structure. She is fairly preoccupied with details and may tend to waste her nervous and mental energy in futile verbal outpourings. Moreover, her feelings sometimes blur her objective vision of phenomena and people, which may cause her to make errors in judgment.
Nia Sioux has a sensitive personality. She may jump to conclusions, which could disrupt relationships, as well as career plans. She is subject to cyclical energy flows and goes from periods of feverish activity to periods of withdrawal and introspection. The aggressive element in her behavior may be explained by emotional problems she may have experienced in infancy: her mother, or a mother figure, may have had an energetic and volatile personality.
Optimistic and happy to be alive, Nia Sioux is a cheerful, communicative, and pleasant associate to have. Her expansive nature is related to her gratification in childhood, which probably occurred in favorable surroundings with a mother or mother figure who was loving, indulgent, and generous. She is extremely kind-hearted herself and gives of herself and her wealth unstintingly. Her bountifulness, which many people appreciate somewhat selfishly, may arise from a confusion between her desires and reality.
Because Nia Sioux discovered her individuality early in life, she quickly developed an original and independent identity. Her first taste of liberty may have led her to challenge the education and values she received from family and class tradition, and she was able to forge a strong, original personality and philosophy. Her relationships are usually free of conflict, because she is able to reconcile her need for independence with her desire for affection. However, her partners should be open and lively people, able to keep pace with her in her rapid evolution. Nia Sioux has an inspired and extremely lively wit and a brisk interest in the future, technological progress, and new lifestyles. She would be especially successful in communications-related careers like journalism, film, TV, radio, and advertising. Although Nia Sioux is an individualist, she has a powerful desire to contribute to the evolution of society and better its development.
Love and Sensuality:
Nia Sioux has a sensual and affectionate nature which is sensitive to physical attraction. This type of sensitivity, combined with Nia Sioux’s productive urges, may be expressed in an artistic form. As for Nia Sioux’s feelings, they are usually slow to take root. But once Nia Sioux is conquered by love, Nia Sioux forms a deep and lasting bond. Although Nia Sioux is loyal, Nia Sioux may also display a tendency to be somewhat possessive.
Nia Sioux’s birth chart indicates an emotional function which is expressed in a direct and fairly impulsive way. She enjoys reaching out to other people and making discoveries. An eternal teenager with her gaze riveted on the future, she is imbued with an eminently subjective and personal idealism.
Nia Sioux is bubbly, breezy, and attractive, but frivolous. She will not settle down readily. Although to protect herself from her own unconscious she needs the support and structure a stable, solid mate would provide, she is likely to prefer someone just as unstructured as she is – perhaps a younger person… Unless her need to live an original lifestyle drives her to meet an extraordinary individual with whom she develops a relationship characterized more by friendship than love. Together, they may develop a fulfilling and exciting intellectual life.
Sensual and alluring, Nia Sioux likes to attract and seduce. In her youth, her admirers were many and varied. However, she longs for stability and will find this with a partner who is socially brilliant but somewhat unconventional.
Nia Sioux has a romantic imagination, soaring with idealism, dreams, and poetry. Nia Sioux is emotive and hypersensitive, making Nia Sioux especially vulnerable emotionally, since Nia Sioux is sometimes overwhelmed by Nia Sioux’s feelings and affects. Although Nia Sioux seeks an ideal soulmate, a partner with whom Nia Sioux could maintain blissful, smooth relations, Nia Sioux is sometimes met with disillusionment. Because Nia Sioux’s rather excessive sensitivity and Nia Sioux’s need to merge with the other are deep and powerful enough, they can submerge Nia Sioux’s judgment and discernment, so Nia Sioux sometimes forms extremely intense bonds too quickly with individuals who are not appropriate partners in many ways. When Nia Sioux meet someone, Nia Sioux falls under the enchantment of Nia Sioux’s dream of ideal love and cannot keep Nia Sioux from delighting in a reverie of future romance, placing the other on a pedestal. Early on in the relationship, Nia Sioux yields to another of Nia Sioux’s characteristic urges and loses Nia Sioux in the individual who is so dear to Nia Sioux, melding with them, only to awaken one morning and find Nia Sioux as if in the arms of a stranger, greatly astounded and disappointed. Actually, Nia Sioux’s psyche is constructed in such a way as to make Nia Sioux’s sensitivity a function of the environment, in many cases; it follows the flow of momentary emotions and impressions. Before Nia Sioux take on any major commitments, Nia Sioux should make a conscious effort to evaluate the relationship realistically, and see whether the person really reciprocates Nia Sioux’s intense love, for Nia Sioux may merely be in love with the mirage of an ideal partner. Nia Sioux’s tendency to believe in Nia Sioux’s illusions may mark Nia Sioux as an easy prey for people with bad intentions. It would be a good idea for Nia Sioux to find a different object for Nia Sioux’s affections, or a form of sublimation, because Nia Sioux tends to be so disappointed by Nia Sioux’s great emotional investments. The delicacy and subtlety of Nia Sioux’s imagination procure artistic refinement for Nia Sioux, and Nia Sioux loves the arts, music, and literature, which could all be good sources of emotional involvement and fulfillment. Because Nia Sioux’s sensitivity also makes it easy for Nia Sioux to empathize with the psychological or social difficulties Nia Sioux’s peers are struggling with, Nia Sioux might also find it rewarding to commit Nia Sioux to social work.
From the outside, Nia Sioux seems to be detached and aloof, but on the inside she is an extremely complex individual, full of contradictions. Because she sometimes feels vulnerable emotionally, she tries to control not only her own feelings and urges, but may also strive to manipulate those of her partners. She aspires to a profound and enduring spiritual unity, but at the same time, the idea of abandoning herself and yielding to the other terrifies her. This anguish may be a source of rather extreme behavior patterns and a somewhat self-focused attitude which could damage the relationship. Because she is guarded and somewhat secretive, she tends to be suspicious and is especially uneasy about spontaneous intimacy, although she is fascinated by sexuality. Within the privacy of the couple, she will not express her feelings unless she is subject to some tension. Life may be peppered with frequent crises and feuds, arguments and spats which usually act as erotic provocation. This derivation of eroticism from anxiety tends to be one of the fundamental characteristics of her emotional and sexual functioning. As a result, she is likely to be attracted by stormy and complicated relationships.
Mental and Intellect:
Nia Sioux has a lively wit which gives her great agility and scope and a broad field of consciousness which enlivens her curiosity and makes her love variety and change. Her mind is alert and her speech is full of verve, humor, and sometimes impudence. These abilities are great resources in communication, discussion, and debate. Nia Sioux is a storehouse of information and ideas of every kind and delights in manipulating words and concepts, discovering new things, and sharpening her memory for trivial facts. This mental agitation could sometimes make her scattered, however, or lacking in coherence and discipline.
Nia expresses her thoughts and ideas carefully, but with a relative lack of spontaneity. Nia is rather introverted and looks inside herself for the solutions to the problems she encounters in life. Because Nia tends to mistrust customary thought patterns, her opinion is usually highly personal.
Nia Sioux’s intellectual faculties and wit are sometimes slowed down because they are turned inward. Because Nia Sioux tends to be oriented toward herself, she rarely tries to communicate with others for the simple pleasure of doing so. Indeed, Nia Sioux sometimes feels misunderstood. Moreover, it seems difficult to Nia Sioux to express the complexity of her inner perceptions.
Nia Sioux has a lively and agile spirit, but tends to apply her mental abilities in a somewhat haphazard and disorderly way. She is curious and open-minded, approaching various life experiences with an attitude free of either dogmatism or prejudice. Her extremely lively mind leads her to have an opinion on every subject.
Although she enjoys manipulating expressions and concepts and amuses others and herself with witty remarks, her conversations could collapse into argument and conflict.
Because she is often too hasty to formulate and construct the arguments which would back up and inform her ideas, she is sometimes misunderstood. She is often blind to the rashness of her judgments and convinced they are well-founded and objective, which sometimes irritates the people around her. Actually, her overriding need to assert herself as an individual sometimes defeats discussion and prevents her from listening to the other person fairly. But if she were to succeed in disciplining her mind somewhat, she would have innumerable opportunities to apply her communications skills to a great career.
Moreover, she should be careful of her nerves, which are fairly high-strung. Any physical fitness activity would be beneficial; an Eastern discipline such as yoga or Tai-chi-chuan could teach her how to relax and improve control of her nervous and mental energies.
Nia Sioux has a mind with an insatiable appetite for knowledge and an exceptional ability to learn. Without trying too hard, Nia could probably accumulate encyclopedic erudition. Nia’s intellectual curiosity is such that it is sometimes a drawback. Nia sometimes has trouble limiting herself to a single subject without being distracted by a multitude of others. Discipline and a conscious effort at organization will be of great help to Nia if Nia wants to deepen Nia’s learning and judgment.
Once Nia’s intellectual faculties are disciplined, Nia is likely to succeed in any of the following fields: teaching, historical scholarship, advertising, writing (journalistic or literary), travel, etc. – in fact, communication in any form.
