What kind of person is Mike Shinoda?

Mike Shinoda’s psyche follows an introverted flow. He knows himself and attempts to develop his inner resources to their maximum potential.

Mike Shinoda leads a life which is open to the outside world. His personal consciousness is forged by the heat of outer events. He is inclined to adopt the most objective viewpoint possible to be pragmatic and perhaps even materialistic.

Mike Shinoda thought, intuition, and inner perceptions predominated in his psyche. Open and curious, optimistic and enthusiastic, he was eager to participate in everything happening around him. His affections were lively and spontaneous, but may be more intellectual than sensual. In a partner, he would seek a source of mutual spiritual or artistic inspiration. Light-hearted and perhaps even fickle, he never allowed himself to be overcome by outer realities or emotions. In its most exaggerated form, his buoyancy borders on indifference.

I struggle to get into natural harmony with the physical world and the limitations and restraints it places upon me. Idealistic, I tend to be somewhat disconnected from practical considerations, and barely pay any attention to material things like food, money, my surroundings, and so on. I tend to be footloose and fancy-free, oblivious to the necessities of survival in the physical world, until my lack of material resources – an issue to which I usually grant no importance – becomes an emergency. This feeling of being out of touch with material things and the physical dimension of reality may sometimes lead me to see myself as unfit for this world. I may think I cannot attach myself to anything that would sustain my efforts at self-expression. However, my impractical nature offers many positive aspects. I see life’s possibilities as limitless. I am apt to develop my imagination or pursue a spiritual quest in order to transcend the material world.

You work hard to understand the feelings of others, but you find it difficult to empathize and connect with them. You see the emotional world as a foreign territory, full of hidden dangers. Becoming familiar with it would be a risk, because it might be difficult to discern what is safe and what is not. As a result, you may come across as distant or critical. You may struggle to form positive relationships, as you seek out individuals who are different from you. If you could accept and understand your own emotions, you would have a easier time dealing with the emotions of others. You have a strong desire for emotional independence, and may find it difficult to rely on others. You might even be the first to deny that others have real emotions. This dependency is unconscious, and is seen as a threat, so it is repressed. In reality, though, you are always making tentative, half-conscious forays into the world of feelings, because your loneliness and fear are so overwhelming.
