However, because he is not very good at understanding his own feelings, he often comes across as insensitive or uninterested in others’ feelings. He sees the emotional world as a foreign territory and is not very familiar with it, which may cause him difficulty establishing a rewarding relationship. If he were able to accept and understand his own emotions, he would have an easier time grappling with the feelings of others.
