What kind of person is Adam Met?

Adam Met seeks to make his inner wealth outwardly manifest and substantial.

Relatively extroverted, Adam Met leads a life which is open to the outside world. His personal consciousness is forged by the heat of outer events. He is inclined to adopt the most objective viewpoint possible to be pragmatic and perhaps even materialistic.

Adam Met demonstrates great interest in the outside world, social affairs, and anything else that contributes to the growth and development of society as a whole. Clubs, organizations, and other forms of partnership attract Adam’s attention and motivate Adam’s behavior. Adam tries to protect Adam from Adam’s subjectivity by adopting an impersonal approach to life. Devoted to the common cause, Adam’s destiny is no longer Adam’s alone. It is almost entirely controlled by the people whose cause Adam has espoused.

Adam Met has a tendency to identify with others. He forms friendships easily and naturally and enjoys participating in other people’s lives. Sociable, he enjoys being seen and appreciate popularity and recognition. Solitude bores him. His life and personal relations are in sync with his friendships and outer events. Most often, he shares the opinion of others.

Adam Met is a realist. They approach life pragmatically, and even their feelings are based on rational, tangible evidence. They base their judgements on past experience and are prone to skepticism. A hard worker, they take pride in their own endeavors and have a personal concept of their productivity. Their possessions help them assert themselves as an individual and act as an antidote to any feelings of insecurity. As a result, material accomplishments may preoccupy them more than either love as a passion or intellectual or philosophical considerations. Nevertheless, they become attached to anything which offers them certainty.

Adam Met works harder than others to understand other people’s feelings. But this seeming lack of empathy and compassion for others simply mirrors Adam’s own difficulty in understanding his own feelings and emotional needs. Adam is not insensitive, but he is baffled by his own emotions. He sees the emotional world as a foreign terrain, perhaps fraught with hidden dangers. Becoming familiar with it would present more drawbacks than advantages. As a result, Adam may appear to be hard or aloof.

Adam might struggle to establish a rewarding relationship, as he seeks special individuals to bond with. If Adam were able to accept and understand his own emotions, he would have an easier time grappling with other people’s feelings.

Adam has a strong desire for emotional independence, and might have trouble seeing other people’s emotional needs. He might even be the first to deny that such needs are real.

As a result, Adam’s dependency on others is unconscious. Because it is seen as such a threat, it is repressed. Actually, although Adam offers conscious resistance to anyone who tries to lure him out of his emotional bubble, he is always making timid, half-conscious forays into the world of feelings, because his loneliness and fear are so unbearable.
